The Essential Ukrainian Dinner

Veselka does such a great job with their long distance delivery meals and foods. Everything was delicious! The beet salad is so plentiful coming in a big jar, all the portions are perfect for 6-8 people! Such a delicious and special delivery! Always choose the sautéed onions with your pierogi!!!

The only things we every need to add are sour cream and apple sauce;)

We ordered this to give a taste of traditional Ukrainian items to our son and daughter-in-law at Easter.

The pierogi and onions were a hit when pan fried and sour cream on the side! The chicken stew was also very good.

Unfortunately the borscht contained MSG (monosodium glutamate) so 2 of the 4 of us could not even eat it. Please consider removing this unnecessary ingredient!

Delivery was good and packaging and instructions worked well.

We missed Grandma Anna's cooking, especially her Paska. We might try other offerings in the future.

We ordered this for my mom’s birthday. My parents like it a LOT. Also saves them from having to cook for several days. Arrived perfectly in a very hot climate too.

We were thrilled to get Velselka delivered to our door after visiting a couple years ago. Ordered the bigos, mushroom barley soup, vegetarian borscht, as well as the meat and mushroom pierogi. We pan fry our pierogi with bacon and you wouldn’t know you weren’t in a restaurant. It was easily 3 meals (for hungry people). Can’t wait to order again!
